Hey, I'm a big kid now!

Our little baby isn't so little anymore. Yesterday, we celebrated Brett's 3rd birthday. Since his birthday celebration he has found numerous ways to tell and show me that he's a big kid now. For example, he can put on his own socks, buckle his own car seat, take off his shoes and socks, use the potty, fix a glass of water, and walk next to me in the store. I wonder what confidence tomorrow will bring...

Brett's "Surprise" Birthday Party

Brett enjoyed an early surprise birthday celebration on Sunday with Uncle Phil, Aunt Elizabeth, Uncle Mark, Megan, Best Friend Jack, Jack's Mom Cindy, Michelle, Mom, Dad, and Breandan. We yelled surprise for Brett, just like Ruby's friend do on his favorite episode of "Max and Ruby". There was also a hilarious and action packed game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Of course no party is complete with out the cake and sing "Happy Birthday to You". Brett and Jack did an excellent job of putting out the candles. He also opened some fantastic presents. It was a great time for everyone. We were all delighted to be able to share Brett's special day with so many people that are so special to us! Thanks to all of you!
