Snow in Raleigh in March

Raleigh received an extra special surprise...snow in March. We went to bed hoping that there would be a couple of inches in the morning... I could hardly sleep in anticipation of snow.

We did awake to about 3 inches of snow. The boys were excited when they looked out the window and saw the snow. We waited a couple of hours to venture outside. We piled on our snow clothes and went out. The boys were much more comfortable with the snow this time. We even attempted cleaned off Daddy's car so he could go to work.

We attempted to make a snowman but the snow wasn't wet enough. Instead we opted for a more adventureous sport- snow ball fighting... Daddy even enjoyed some fun before he left for work. Watch Out!

Face Painting

Last night, the boys spent some time at Right Time Kids, a drop off childcare center. We've been using the center for almost year. The boys love it and ask to go frequently. Mom and Dad love it because we can drop them off and know they are safe and having a good time.

When I went to pick them up last night they had their faces painted. Jess, one of the boys favorite workers, told me she had to tell me what Brett did... I was of course a little nervous. Apparently, the boys had to wait in line for the face painting. When it was finally Brett's turn, he said that he want to give his spot to Breandan, who was much further back in line. It was gracious of him to give his spot his little brother. I was very proud of him. They of course were very excited about their Batman faces.

My Sweet Valentine

I received some precious flowers from one of my sweet Valentine's... Brett made this nice vase at Preschool. He had me close my eyes and then pulled the vase out from behind his back... He was very sweet!
