Amanda and Jacques come to visit!

Our boys returned home safely with Amanda and Jacques. They were happy to see their toys, dogs and their parents after two weeks. They had a great time on vacation with Mommom and Poppop in MD. Amanda and Jacques then vacationed a few days in NC. We went Falls Lake with them on Wednesday and ate hot dogs at their campsite. They also spent some time with us at our house. We love it when people come and visit. Brett and Breandan especially enjoy the extra attention.

Boating Adventures

Seane and I enjoyed several days together in Myrtle Beach, SC while the boys vacationed in MD. We had a great time sitting on the beach, watching the sunrise, floating in the "lazy river", dining in peace and quiet, and of course some boating. We are very thankful to Mommom and Poppop for keeping the boys and to Grandma and Grandpa for keeping the "girls" (Pepper & Daisy).

Brett and Breandan Visit Great Grandmother Owen

While vacationing with Mommom and Popppop, Brett and Breandan went to visit their Great Grandmother Owen. Everyone went for a walk to the playground. Brett had a great time with the big blue car (it reminded him of the Wiggles Big Red Car). Breandan enjoyed the sandbox and the slide. Grandmother had a great time and didn't want the party to end. She had hoped everyone could have stay longer. Poppop took some great pictures of the day with his cell phone and Mommom gave a great account when we spoke later.

Wiggles Concert

After much anticipation and excitement, the Wiggles concert day finally arrived. We purchased our tickets in April with the help of Aunt Amanda and then it was a long long wait till the big day finally arrived. Brett and Breandan had wonderful time singing and dancing to their favorite songs.


Breandan even yelled out, "There's Murray" when
Murray passed by us in the stands. Brett was in awe of seeing his favorite singers. Mommom had a great time too- she's doing an excellent job of learning all the Wiggle songs and dancemoves. We are all looking forward to our next Wiggly concert!

Pizza Time

During our time in MD we were able to spend time with Aunt Elizabeth, Uncle Phil, and Cousin Jacquelyn. Brett and Breandan are planning on seeing some more friends and family during their vacation with Mommom and Poppop.

While we visited with Aunt Elizabeth and "Baby Nike", we made some personal pizzas. Brett had fun snacking on the pepperonis before cooking his cheese-less pizza. Breandan had fun with the pizza sauce. Elizabeth did a great job of managing the little chefs. We're looking forward to making little pizzas with "Baby Nike" too.

Cupcakes, Pizza and No Brett

Breandan and Mom have had a fun couple of days. Breandan's been enjoying his time one on one time with Mom and Dad. Brett has gone to MD a couple of days early with Mommom and Poppop. Breandan's been eating lots of food for the first time because Brett's not around. He seems to have a real preference for Krispy Kreme Donuts. He likes to eat around the outside of donut leaving the center for later. He also had pizza, macaroni and cheese, and cupcakes. We leave for MD on Wed. We are looking forward to seeing Brett and eating a little healthier. :O)

Mommom and Poppop Come to Visit

Mommom and Poppop came for a last minute visit on Wed. Brett was so excited! We waited to tell him and gave him clues all day so he could guess who was coming... Of course, he so smart that he guessed Mommom and Poppop with the first clue. (He was only told that two people were coming...) Breandan was told the day before who was coming- He promised to keep it a secret. Mommom and Poppop came to help us lay a new wood laminate floor in our living room. We were all excited they came to help! We needed them!
