Brett, Breandan, Seane and I attended the Wiggles concert last night in Raleigh. We had a great time dancing and singing our favorite Wiggles songs. It was some terrific family time. We had some comfy and roomy seats in the club level. This gave the boys lots of room to move around. They even did some table dancing...

The big car was broken last night when it came out on stage. Brett was very concerned that the Big Red Car was broken down. He asked that I call the Wiggles' mechanic this morning so their car could be fixed.

Breandan spent a lot of time taking it all in... I few times I caught him just sitting and staring at all that was going on.... He had fun dancing to his favorite Wiggle song- Rock a Bye a Bear-

I'm not sure that there are anymore Wiggles concerts in our future. I think they will be past their Wiggles phase the next time they are in town. I'm just thankful for the memories we'll always have our boys singing and dancing to Wiggles songs. They have learned some amazing dance and guitar moves from the Wiggles....

Dad is Great- Gives us the Chocolate Cake

Last night, Breandan, Brett and I found ourselves singing the tune... "Dad is great... Gives us the chocolate cake". However, the tune came true last night for all of us. It was a first for us! Mommom found an egg replacer in South Africa so it was Seane's idea to try it last night. Together we made a chocolate cake with the egg replacer. Brett was very excited as this was his first true cake experience.

While we were driving home, Breandan was looking at the cake mix box and noticed the picture of the egg. He then reminded everyone in the van that the cake had eggs- which in Breandan's world means I don't have to share with Brett. You would be amazed all the things that have egg in them sometimes.... The look of concern on Brett's face was worth a million words. He had nothing to worry about though--- which we explained to Brett's delight and Breandan's disappointment.

Raleigh Vacation

Brett and Breandan enjoyed a Raleigh Vacation last week with Mommom and Poppop. They had a great time while Mom and Dad spent some time alone at the beach. They had a busy week- going to Movies, visiting the library, eating at McDonalds, stopping for ice cream, touring Raleigh's kids museum Marbles and of course lots of time playing. Mommom and Poppop did a great job capturing some of their fun together-

Brett rode his new Big Boy Bike-I'm sure it won't be long before he ready to take off the training wheels-- He and Poppop had a good time racing and riding together.

Mommom and Poppop brought the boys sticker storyboard books back from Aunt Amanda's wedding in South Africa. They both enjoyed creating stories to tell to their audience.

There was also some cooking baking. The boys had eaten all the cookies before we got home. They must have been some really good cookies.

There was also lots of time for playing games, creating with play doh and pretending.

Brett and Breandan also enjoyed visiting Marbles again. It is a great hands on learning museum for children. They had fun dressing up, splashing in the water, pretending to be Carolina Hurricane player, and taking Mommom on the pirate ship.
